Maintenance of Canals/Lakes and Walkways in and around Colombo City

Maintenance of main canal network in and around Colombo is one of the functions of Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation (SLLDC). SLLDC is involving to maintain;

44 km length of Main Canals
52 km length of Secondary Canal

in and around Colombo Metropolitan Region to ensure pollution free clean and attractive environment. In addition to the above Lakes, Water bodies and walkways also maintaining under SLLDC purview.
