The Lands & Marketing Division comprises of two major sections, Land Acquisition. Land Management and Land Disposal
Main Functions
- Acquisition of lands suitable for development
- Acquisition of lands required for Flood Control Projects and Canal Improvements.
- Management of acquired lands. (Retention areas etc.)
- Disposal of lands as per the guidelines on land alienation
- Declaration of Wetlands in the Country.
- Declaration of Canal Reservations in the country.
- Vesting of Crown Lands for Development Purposes.
- Currently Overseeing The Special Enforcement Unit.

Main Functions
- Safeguard the corporation from legal action, both by initiating and defending court proceedings, in collaboration with the Attorney General’s Department.
- Provide legal advice and opinions to Management on all matters requiring legal interpretation or guidance, as necessary.
- Prepare and attest all Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Agreements, Contracts/Consultancy Agreements, Leases, Transfer Deeds, and other related legal documents.
- Review and verify land titles to ensure clear ownership and legal status in relation to land development files submitted by developers.

Main Functions
- Report all administrative functions to the Chairman.
- Report key findings and information accurately and in a timely manner to the Board through the Audit Committee.
- Monitor and assess the adequacy and robustness of the Internal control systems.
- Ensure reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
- Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of operations and programs.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, procedures and contracts.
- Carry out ad-hoc investigations at the request of the Chairman, Audit Committee and the Board.

Main Functions
- Timely provision of financial resources to meet the financial requirements of all processes of the Corporation
- Preparation of Monthly Accounts by 15th of the following month. Annual Accounts before the end of February in the following year
- Preparation of Corporation Budget for the coming year on or before 15th December every year
- Timely preparation & presentation of financial feasibility studies for project & investments of the Corporation within target dates
